Ultimate Homeschool Expo free ticket give-away!

Join US for the largest Virtual Homeschool Conference

I'm excited to be a part of the Ultimate Homeschool Expo again this year! The UHSE is a fantastic virtual homeschool conference. Your ticket gives you unlimited access to all of the messages, and you can listen at leisure whenever and wherever you want...whether in your jammies at home or on your ipod in the car!

I'll be sharing my messages about The Homeschooler's Library and my newly updated talk Cultivating Loyalty Between Siblings. Tickets to the Expo cost $24.95 and include over 100 audios, door prizes, e-books, and a Vendor hall. Or you can enter my contest and possibly win one for free!

Just leave a comment below about what topic you'd like to hear a message about. It could be anything related to homeschooling, motherhood, marriage, homemaking, etc. I'm curious to find out what's on your heart right now. I'll do a random drawing from those who have entered on April 29. Make sure to leave your email address or link to your blog so I can contact the winner! For additional entries, blog, Tweet or Facebook about the UHSE and my contest...leave me a separate comment (with a link to your blog, tweet or FB post) for each entry, up to four entries per person!

What message would you find helpful and interesting at this stage in your life? For me it would probably have to be something about transcripting. My oldest is finishing up his freshman year in high school right now and I am feeling a bit daunted by the process of writing up his transcript and gathering samples of his work. Or maybe a message about raising girls...I'd love to hear some wisdom about that as we embark on a new adventure with our first girl!

For me, I'd like to see a topic on how to manage enhancement activities outside of homeschool (like music lessons, sports, etc.) without disrupting the family schedule.

The area I struggle most in and could use some helpful hints is household management combined with homeschooling, and how to effectively incorporate children into running the house.

Considering the season of life I am in... I would like to hear ideas on how to maintain enthusiasm and faithfulness coming down the homeschool homestretch... I have been doing this for 17 years and still have 8 or so years to go... The road ahead looks loooong and I am afraid my Youngers are not getting as much as my Olders did...

The thing I would like to learn is how to keep my teen-aged sons pure in our culture of immodesty. Just going to Wal-Mart is difficult.
Thanks so much for this give-away!!

Everyone's comments sound wonderful to me. I will be brining all three of my children home from PS next school year (We'll be starting this June!), and I need all the help I can get. They will range in age from 1st grade to 7th grade. So I need help on managing enhancement activities for 3, household management advice, teaching dyslexic kids, avoiding burnout, and how to plan for high school. HELP!!! :)

I'd like to hear something about working with children not very close in age - mine are four years apart. How can we do as much as possible together, while still devoting proper time and attention to individual studies?

I REAAALLLLYYY need help with cultivating sibling relationships....we seem to take one step forward and two steps back! We are also dealing with some ADHD and/or emotional immaturity which is adding a negative spin to the natural tendency for competition in my boys.

I would like to hear words of encouragement and wisdom about homeschooling through hard times. We have had a year filled with challenge after challenge, and sometimes with a family of four kids spread apart in age, I feel like I am not possibly being effective with any of them.

Hi, I am new to homeschooling but not teaching. I would love to hear any and everything. I'm very interested in the topic of siblings and how to cultivate good relationships there. Also I work from home... so any tips on organization and managing to to do your best when you homeschool and have to work as well... that would be wonderful! :)

I'd like to know more about being a single parent self employed homeschooler and balancing those demands, and how to get reconnected to my four angels after doing a lot of internet base curriculum. My oldest will be in the 8th grade next year.

Thanks for offering this. What I would love help with would be how to keep kids interested and wanting to do school. How to teach them to balance different activities in the days.
